Vietnam not ready to reopen Borders to Foreign Visitors Yet

Vietnam having successfully containing the COVID-19 will not be opening up to international tourists yet due to concerns that doing so could result in a second wave of infections, states Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. Vietnam has been successful in containing the number of infections to 352 cases with no reported deaths due to an aggressive, targeted testing programme and a centralised quarantine system.
