Sri Lanka Tourism to Take Part in Upcoming Investment Forum

Sri Lanka Tourism is gearing up to speak at the upcoming Sri Lanka Investment Forum (SLIF) with tourism being identified as a key thrust sector.

The forum which is the first and largest virtual investor forum in the region will be held from the 7th of June to 9th of June 2021.

The key priorities for Sri Lanka Tourism at the session is to position and promote Sri Lanka as an ideal post COVID travel destination leading to more foreign direct investors.

One of the priority session in the Tourism Industry Panel Discussion scheduled to be held on the 8th of June 2021.

The session will feature industry leaders including Krishan Balendra, Chairman, John Keells Holdings PLC, Timothy Wright, Vice President and General Manager, Shangri-La Hotel Colombo, Pierre Pringiers, Chairman and Founder, Sail Lanka Yachting Group, and Dharshan Munidasa, Co-Founder, Ministry of Crab.

The session will be moderated by Hiran Cooray, Chairman, Jetwing Symphony PLC.

The panelists will be sharing insights in to the future potential of the tourism industry and assist investors to explore opportunities in the tourism sector.
