Small Spike in COVID-19 Cases Post Elections
National Operations Centre for the Prevention of Covid 19 (NOCPC) and the Epidemiological Unit of the Department of Health Services (EUDH) reports a small spike in the number of COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka post the elections. The spike is mainly due to the reaptriating citizens mainly from the middle eastern countries with 3 new patients identified bringing the total number of patients since the outbreak to 2941.
