Initial List of Countries Selected to Enter EU Countries to be Reviewed Every 2 Weeks

Days after heavy criticism on Sri Lanka, (having successfully containing the COVID-19 virus) not being included on the initial list of countries who could travel to EU countries when their borders re-open on July 1, the European Commission in Brussels yesterday stated that the initial list of countries were selected based on a list of criteria including the epidemiological situation of the country and the list will be reviewed every two weeks.
