August 1 Date for Reopening Airport Not Confirmed – Admiral Jayanath Colombage
Admiral Jayanath Colombage (Rtd.), Additional Secretary to the President for Foreign Relations speaking to Derana TV stated that the 1 August date for reopening the Airport has only been fixed tentatively and could still be subject to change. He also asserts that the country will be opened up in stages and in accordance with the guidelines prepared by the tourism board.
