A Negative COVID-19 Report Required to Enter Canada

Transport Minister Marc Garneau stated that all visitors aged 5 and up travelling to Canada are required to provide a negative report of the COVID-19 test taken 72 hours prior to departure, from the 7th of January 2021. He further stated that a negative report is required to be shown to the airline before departure to Canada. Pre-departure tests will not cancel the mandatory requirement of a 14 day quarantine period for all passengers arriving into the country. The country will have all visitors under strict supervision during the 14 day quarantine period.
