WHO – Sri Lanka to Receive 20% Requirement of Covid-19 Vaccine Once Developed

The World Health Organization has assured that 20% of the country’s requirement of Covid-19 vaccines will be provided once development is complete. A technical team has been appointed to determine groups to be prioritized in being vaccinated against the virus. A special discussion took place with the participation of Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, WHO country representative ‎Dr. Razia Pendse, Minister of Production, Supply, and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana, and key officials of the health sector.
