SLTPB attends Webinar with Top Tour Operators in Pakistan
The Sri Lankan High Commission in Pakistan organised a webinar to brief top tour operators in Pakistan on the COVID-19 situation in Sri Lanka. The webinar was attended by Kimarli Fernando, Chairperson, Sri Lanka Tourism, Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama (RSP, VSV, NDC), High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Pakistan, Dushan Wickramasuriya, Director Marketing, The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau (SLTPB) among others. The discussion focussed on generating ideas to attract high end visitors from Pakistan, post COVID-19 travel situation in Sri Lanka and creating awareness around Sri Lanka as potential travel destination among those considering travel to competing destinations. The next set of webinars will be with tour operators from Russia, Germany, UK, China, Japan, the Middle East and Scandinavian countries.
