Travel Between Provinces Restricted Until end of May
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has instructed that all travel between provinces be restricted until the end of May to curb the rapid spread of the ongoing COVID-19 virus.
He further reiterated that all gathering will be also be cancelled until the end of May.
The government has taken the necessary steps to limit the number of people who can visit commercial establishments and will continue to isolate high infection areas.
The president continued to stress the importance of the commitment and the discipline of people in containing the COVID-19 virus.
