THASL Congratulates New Government and Hopes to Work Closely to Revive Tourism
Sanath Ukwatte, President, The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) congratulated President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on their resounding win at the recently concluded General Elections. The Hotels Association of Sri Lanka (THASL) hopes to work closely with the government to revive tourism, one of the worst hit industries by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, securing the livelihood of over two million Sri Lankans dependent on tourism income.
