Inter-Province Travel Restrictions in Place from Midnight
DIG Ajith Rohana, Police Spokesman confirmed that travel restrictions will be imposed from midnight tonight and will be effect till the 31st of May 2021.
The travel restrictions have been put in place to curtail the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus.
Travel for holidays and leisure activities have been banned with hotels requested not to accept bookings from people visiting from other provinces due to the prevailing inter province travel restriction.
