Indian Government Provides 500,000 Oxford AstraZeneca Vaccines to Sri Lanka

The first batch of Covid vaccines provided by India are expected to reach Sri Lanka on the 28th of January 2021. The Cabinet of Ministers expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Indian government for providing 500,000 Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines to Sri Lanka. Local Health Officials are at the ready to roll out the vaccines with front line health care workers set to be vaccinated over the next few weeks.
