Continued Relief Requested by the Tourism Industry
The Tourism sector which had been one of the hardest hit sectors due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic plans to meet with Central Bank Governor to request for additional support and relief.
The Industry stakeholders have requested that outstanding debt or interest waivers are written off, a request that has not been agreed to by the Central Bank nor the Government.
