Board of Airline Representatives Willing to Resume Flights to Sri Lanka in Mid July

Board of Airline Representatives (BAR) in a meeting with the Prime Minister expressed willingness to resume flights to Sri Lanka by mid July, 2 weeks prior to the 1 August date set by the Government and Sri Lanka Tourism as the official date of reopening Sri Lanka to foreign travellers. In addition to Board of Airline Representatives (BAR) the meeting was attended by Tourism and Aviation Services Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, Secretary to the Prime Minister Gamini Senarath, Sri Lanka Tourism Chairperson Kimarli Fernando, Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO) and Sri Lanka Association of Professional Conference, Exhibition and Event Organisers (SLAPCEO).
